Since the inauguration of the charity in 2007, we have set up and been involved with many projects, as some shown below. 



Project work so far includes:


  • Financed rain water harvesting schemes (as above) and running water for health centre

  • Built a housing for a medical refrigeration unit (top right)

  • Supplied a midwife bag and other medical equipment for health centre

  • Supporting education of several Sisters as nurses/midwives and other professions

  • Financing bursaries for nursery school children.                                         

  • Provided playground equipment for nursery school

  • Supplied sewing and knitting machines (right)           

  • Financed agricultural machine spares

  • Famine relief due to poor harvest

  • Assisted in getting Bibles and hymn books to equip village congregations 

  • Supplied Bajaji (Scooter driven Rickshaw)

  • Built a hostel to accommodate 20 girls who come from villages to attend Secondary School

  • Drilled a well producing large quantities of water for irrigation and domestic use

Fundraising Ideas:

The following are projects we would like to fund, based on the agricultural needs of the Sisters.

Two Axle Tipping Trailer at about  £6,700

($8,610 or €7,560)

To connect to tractor bought last year.


Thrasher to get cob off the corn stoke at about £750

($965 or €846)

Currently it takes 20 Sisters 7 days to thrash manually 200 sacks of corn, as seen here:

Well drilling for water at Mkuranga farm of Sisters near Dar Es Salaam.

Funding is needed to hire the drilling machine and cover the project work.

Current estimate is £400  ($515 or €450)
