ANNUAL LETTER NO.35 YEAR 2019

Dear Friends and Partners,

We greet you in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ our Saviour and Redeemer.

“I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full,” Jesus said (John 10:10b).


We have just celebrated the birth of our Saviour and Redeemer, Jesus Christ and God has been so kind and merciful to allow us to see the New Year 2020. We give Praise and Glory to God.
 

ELECTION OF MOTHER SUPERIOR:

 

On 1st June, last year, as Mother Dorothy had come to the end of her first period of office, we held an elecTon for our next Mother Superior and Mother Dorothy was elected for a the second period.

 

RELIGIOUS MEETING:

Last year from 14th to 18th August we had a meeting of Religious Brothers and Sisters from Zimbabwe, Zambia and Tanzania. The Theme of the meeting was “Community Growth”. It was a very good meeting. The Facilitator was from Ndanda Mission Br. Christian OSB.

VISITORS:

 

From May 20th to 12th June 2019 Dr. Max-Beat Fluckiger from Switzerland visited Dar-es-Salaam Ilala house and Njombe/Sayuni houses. He is supporting our Sayuni Dispensary.


In October last year we had a group of 8 visitors from Switzerland: Mr. & Mrs. Urs Muller, Mr. & Mrs. Beatrice Reusser, Mr. & Mrs. Robert Amstutz, Mr. Raymond Dumont, Nassouh Toutungi led by Dirk Juttner. It was a blessed visit.

On 1st November All Saints Day, 2019 we inaugurated our CMM History book wricen by Sr. Magdalene CMM ex-Mother Superior. The Service was led by Dr. James B. Almasi, Bishop of the Diocese of Masasi and some of the Priests of the Diocese acended the Service. It was an historical event.

NJOMBE:

 

Last year we managed to build two more classes at their Pre and Primary School.

CONCLUSION:

We would like to take this opportunity to thank the Community of Sacred Passion UK, the Board of Trustees of the African Sisters Group UK, the Friends of Masasi, UK, Partner Sein, Switzerland, Anglican Aid Abroad Australia and all our friends inside and outside the country for their great support to CMM Projects in all our Houses. If it were not for your support, we couldn’t have been where we are. God Bless you all. Please continue to pray for us.
